Painting quotes swing more than people expect, and the spread is almost never the paint. It is the prep and the access. Here is what actually moves the number for residential painting in San Diego. Get the same scope in writing from everyone you talk to, and most of the mystery disappears.

Flat hides wall flaws and marks easily, eggshell and satin clean better, and semi-gloss belongs on trim and doors. We will tell you which goes where and why.
Can you fix drywall damage before painting?
Yes, and we would rather you ask than paint over it. Drywall repair is the other trade this family came up in, so patches, cracks, water-stain repairs, and texture matching get done properly before primer. Paint over bad drywall just makes the flaw glossy.
Do you paint commercial buildings?
Our painting work in San Diego is residential for now. NewGen takes on commercial construction projects, but standalone commercial painting is not something we market at this time. For your house, your rental, or your condo interior, we are the right call.
Do you paint rental properties and turnovers?
